The Theme Of The Month 'The Enabling Grace 2' - 2 Corinthians 1:1-24

Psalms 85:1 (TPT) says, “Lord, Your love has poured out so many amazing blessings on our Land! You’ve restored Jacob’s (my) destiny from captivity.

Enabling can further be defined as, “God will continually revitalise you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases Him.” Live a cheerful life, without complaining or division among yourselves, for then you will be seen as innocent (mature), faultless and pure children of God, even though you live in the midst of a brutal and perverse culture (Deuteronomy 32:5-6), for you will appear among them as shining lights (the enlightened ones) in the universe (Phil 2:13 - 15).

Grace defined thus, “even King David himself speaks to us regarding the complete wholeness that, comes inside a person when God’s powerful declaration of righteousness is heard over our life. Apart from our works, God’s work is enough – Romans 4:6. The Holy Spirit gave them the enabling grace to obey God.

Brethren, God rewarded King Jehoshaphat’s obedience. Firstly, there was a threat of a siege/invasion/challenge; secondly, the King in humility through fasting, prayer for mercy and thirdly, sought the Lord for guidance, direction and for victory.

The Lord God answered them saying, “... this is what the Lord says, do not be afraid, don’t be discouraged by this mighty army for the battle is not yours but God’s.”

Tomorrow march out against them...” Take your positions, then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory ...” 2 Chronicles 20:15-17. The people of Judah and Jerusalem took a step of faith to obey God’s instructions and God honoured His word.

Perhaps God is waiting on you and I to decide, make up our minds to faithfully obey Him by taking our physical and spiritual position in the realm of the spirit so that the limitless God can demonstrate His awesome, explosive power in our lives, through the working of the Holy Spirit. We can then begin to experience His amazing blessings He has poured out on us and our land.

I pray for someone, may the Almighty God endow you with His mighty power as you develop godly character qualities such as kindness, generosity, compassion, and honesty.

Prayer Points : -

1. Father, thank You for keeping me all through the first half of the year and for bringing me, my family, the church family in the second half of 2023 in Jesus’ name.

2. Father, thank You for Your love and covering over me and my loved one.

3. Father, thank You for giving me a sound mind and for preserving me, Lord. Thank You for the strength to do all that I had to do, I acknowledge that, You are the source of my strength.

4. Father thank You for Your salvation and for making me a part of Your family.

5. Father Lord, thank You for your promise to step into our lives to fight our battles for us and we will experience Your victory.

6. Father thank You for not allowing the gates of hell to prevail over us Your church.

7. Father, please end the evil of those who are wicked and defend the righteous, for You look deep within the mind and heart oh righteous God.

8. Father, give me the grace to receive Your amazing blessings You have poured out to us in Jesus’ name.
