The month of 'True Joy' - Psalms 77:1-20

Psalm 32:8-9 I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”

The true definition of joy goes beyond the limited explanation presented in a dictionary – A feeling, a great pleasure and happiness. True joy is a limitless, life-defining, transformative reservoir waiting to be tapped into – it requires the utmost surrender and like love, is a choice to be made (Google.com).

Wao! Here we read and see how my wonderful God is willing and ready to release His limitless, life-defining, transformative reservoir to our lives, if only we are willing and obedient to His precepts.

What bliss (true joy) belongs to those who have confessed their corruption (crookedness, failure, falling short) to God. For He wipes their slates clean and removes hypocrisy from their hearts. Protecting your sin and keeping it inside results in devastating inner life, frustration, irrepressible anguish and misery. The pain never lets up, for God’s hand of conviction is heavy on your heart. Strength-sapped, inner life dries up like a spiritual drought within the soul.

When you finally admit to God and confess to one another, refusing to hide them any longer, then all your sins will be washed away; and all your pain will disappear. Lessons to be learnt is if all believers should confess our sins to God and do it every time God has uncovered you in the time of exposing, because God exposes to deliver. So, if we obey and when the sudden storms of life overwhelm, we will be kept safe.

The Lord will become your secret hiding place, protecting you from these troubles, surrounding you with songs of gladness and God’s joyous shouts of deliverance will release your breakthrough.

Consider the Word of God to be your greatest treasure with all your heart which will keep you from committing sins betrayal against you. Therefore, set your heart on God’s precepts and pay close attention to all God’s ways and instructions.

In conclusion, when we trust in the Lord for forgiveness, through our true confession and repentance, His wraparound love and true joy will surround you.

So, brethren, I urge you to celebrate the goodness of God’s true joy which is limitless, life defining and transformative and He shows this kindness to everyone who is truly His. Therefore, go ahead – shout for joy all you upright ones who want to please ?Him.

I pray for someone; this month and year will be blessed for you. You will beat this addiction, you will come out of debt, you will be healthy and strong, you will fulfil your God-given destiny. It shall be well with you as you experience God’s wonderful surprises this month, this year in Jesus matchless name – Amen.

I decree from now on people will begin to praise and glorify God because of you and what God has done in your life.

Welcome to the new month of August 2022 the month of “TRUE JOY”, so shall it be.

God has shown He can help you, so glorify Him and He will do more to surprise you daily. By His grace, we shall testify of God’s goodness, favour and blessings this month in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

1. Father, we thank and appreciate You in Jesus’ name.

2. Father, thank You for the month of August 2022 in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, thank You for last month, year and all previous DICs, miracles, signs and wonders in Jesus’ name.

4. Father, thank You for this 10th year anniversary of DIC and 18th year of the covenant with House of Hope!

5. Father, thank You that we did not lose anyone during the pandemics and will not lose anyone instead and will be additions, increases, multiplications and expansions in in Jesus’ name.

6. Father, I decide, decree and declare that this month is bless for me, HOH etc. in Jesus’ name.

7. Father, wherever my name is mentioned for evil, let my wonderful God thunder on my behalf and that of my immediate family in Jesus’ name.

8. Father, in this August 2022, I shall begin to prosper, continue to prosper and until I become prosperous in Jesus’ name.
