Pastor's Desk - January 2023

The month of 'Reassurance' - Psalms 119:33-64

Psalm 119:38 says, “reassure me of your promises, For I am your beloved, your servant who bows before you”. As we bow in thanksgiving, worship, praise, making a joyful noise unto you Lord, do reassure us of your promises by making them happen, materialise, come alive in our lives for we know that He who called us is faithful and just to fulfill His Word.

Define Reassurance: The action of removing someone’s doubt or fears. A statement that removes someone’s doubts or fears. This is what the word of God does for believers and now we are asking for the action or manifestation both spiritually and physically.

1. We have come to understand that the primary reason God created us in His image is for fellowship, thanksgiving, praise, worship, and joyfulness of heart.

2. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says (His command) and He has united you and I into partnership with his dear son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

3. We give thanks to our Lord from a position of victory over battles of life. “Victory comes from you, oh Lord. May you bless Your people”- Psalms 3:8.

We bow in appreciation of your mercies, rescue, provisions, miracles, revival, restorations, and preservation of life. Father let our testimony be this month, this year, see how I used him/her to display my power among the people. I made him/ her a leader among the nations in Jesus’ matchless name, Amen. (Isaiah 55:4).

Lord, we have heard you call to take our place, position in the spirit and furthermore in the nations. We now have better understanding of your plans for our lives. Therefore, ingratitude, lawlessness, sin, pride, spiritual ignorance and not being accountable to anyone will be far from us this month, this year, Amen. Instead, this year and the subsequent months will be “REASSURANCE” January 2023

active participation, expression of gratitude and growth in all facets of our spiritual life. Daniel 11:32(AMP) - “and such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits for God”. Lord God, help me to turn my eyes away from illusions so that I pursue only them which are true; drench my soul with life as I walk in your paths- Psalm 119:37.

Father, as we walk in the authority of our sonship as obedient children, you promised in Isaiah 55:12-13 that “You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into songs, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns cypress trees will grow, where nettles grew myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honour to the Lord’s name, they will have an everlasting sign of His power and love”.

Ladies and gentlemen, I pray for someone here and under the echo of my voice your season of miraculous turn around has come, spiritual transformation and all-round breakthrough has come, in Jesus’ Mighty Name Amen.

Prayer Points : -

1. Father, thank You for bringing us into 2023 we are grateful for all Your provisions and deliverance, healing, protection, and breakthroughs. – 1 Chronicles 17:16.

2. Father, God, thank You for Your mercies, forgiveness, favour, joy, hope, testimonies, restoration, recovery, victories. – 1 Chronicles 17:8.

3. Father, thank you for the grace to remember the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the purpose of His coming and what it means to us believers. Living in the end times. - Psalm 90:12; 1John 3:8.

4. Father, this month of January, this year 2023 will be better than 2022 for me, my family, House of Hope family, House of Hope Church, this nation. - Isaiah 3:10.

5. Father, I ask for the greater grace to serve you better and live holy in 2023 better than I did last year. – Ephesians 4:15

6. Lord, I speak greatness, prosperity, joy, peace, hope, blessings. This is my year of great exploit, miracles, testimonies, good health. – Jeremiah 33:9

7. Thank you, Father, 2023 I will be your battle axe. Father Lord, thank you for your reassurance in Jesus’ name.

8. Genesis 50:19-21... No, don’t be afraid I will continue to take care of you and your children, so he reassured them by speaking kindly to them.

9. Father Lord, any force, power or agent of darkness that worked, or working or will work against my rising, establishment, increasing, enlargement, advancement, multiplication and settlement perish, expire, dematerialise and die now, so it is in Jesus mighty name.

10. 1 Cor 2:9; John 10:10b Father, please activate my abundance wealth DNA code in me now in Jesus’ name.
