The month of 'Host God's Presence' - Psalm 18:1-50

1 Cor 6; 19-20 says, “Have you forgotten that, your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary. You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!” The Month of March 2022 Host God’s Presence! Brethren I sense in my spirit a level of urgency to a call to genuinely come to the realisation that our body is housing the gift of God to You and I, the Holy Spirit. In the passage quoted above, “the in you – Holy Spirit”, the Greek word Paul uses for temple is actually naos, “sanctuary” (see Ephesians 2:19-22; 1 Peter 2:4-5). Here we are reminded that, your soul was purchased with the bride-price of the precious blood of Christ. So, we are encouraged by all means; then use your body to bring glory to God. Host is defined a person who invites guests to a meal, a party, etc. or who has people staying at their house ; the Host the bread that is used in the Christian service of communion, after it has been blessed, The biblical definition of host states, “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.” (Colossians 2:9). Therefore, surely you must know that people who practice evil or harbour evil can not possess God’s Kingdom realm stop being deceived, people who continue to engage in sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, sexual perversion, homosexuality, fraud, greed. Drunkenness, verbal abuse (liars, quarrelling, slandering) or extortion – these will not inherit God’s Kingdom realm. It is true that, some of you once lived in those lifestyles, but now you have been purified from sin (washed clean), made holy and given a perfect standing before God – all because of the power of the name of the Lord Jesus, The Messiah and through our union with the Spirit of our God.

I urge you brethren to stop allowing the Holy Spirit in you to be subjected to continuous rape by your lifestyle. When you make up your mind to be a perfect host to the Holy Spirit, suddenly the brilliance of His presence will breakthrough with lightning bolts and hail – a tempest dropping coals of fire. God, all at once you turned on a floodlight for me. You are the revelation light in my darkness, and for your brightness I can see the path ahead. I decree, so shall it be for each and everyone who sincerely, genuinely decides to host God’s presence through obedience to God’s instructions and commands, in Jesus matchless name, amen. Last month, we looked at the 6 offices/functions of the Holy Spirit, this month we will continue to look at the remaining six offices/functions, namely: - Guide into all truth – John 14:26; Revealer of Christ - John 16:13-15; Revealer of Events – John 16:13; Glorifier of Christ – John 16:14; Chief witness for Christ – John 15:26, 16:13-15, Acts 1:8, 2:1-4 and the Convicter of Sin, Righteousness and Judgement – John 16:8. I believe that, by the time we have looked at all of the above mentioned, the power of the Holy Spirit of God will be revived in us. Now, God who raised up our Lord from the grave will awaken and raise us up through His mighty power in Jesus’ name, amen. However, I look forward to hearing your awesome testimonies as you march to actualisation and manifestation of your destiny and purpose, amen.

Prayer Points:

1. Thank You Lord for seeing me through and into this new month of March 2022 in Jesus’ name.

2. Father Lord, let Your purpose be the driving force of my life in Jesus’ mighty name .

3. Father, let my life receive supernatural deliverance from negative forces of darkness in Jesus’ name.

4. Father, the grace to operate my life in the right motive come upon my life now in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, I love You, Yahweh, I am bonded to You my strength forever in Jesus’ name.

6. Holy Spirit, help me to be a genuine and capable host to You in Jesus name.

7. Father, suddenly le the brilliance of Your presence breakthrough with lightning bolts and hail in Jesus’ name.
