The Month Of 'Take Your Place Pt 2 - Romans 15:1-33

"So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God." [Romans 7:4 NLT]

Brethren, we defined “Take Your Place” last month as, to go to a particular position, so that you are ready to do something as the first part. This month of November 2022, I need us to look critically at the second part of the definition, which says, “to become part of a particular group of people or things.

Ladies and gentlemen, the same principle applies to your relationship with God. For you died to your first husband – the law, by being co-crucified with the body of the Messiah (through Salvation and Baptism). So, you are free to “marry” another, the one who was raised from the dead so that you may now bear spiritual fruit (offspring) for God. So that now we may serve God by living in the freshness of a new life in the power of the Holy Spirit.

I believe that it is imperative that, we live a surrendered life under the full control of the Holy Spirit of God. And now let us live a united life as an answer to Jesus’ prayer in our relationships with Godly precepts and in our own individual/personal relationships.

Love is both a choice and an action. But remember, I mentioned before that, true love is key to controlling and wielding God’s power and authority, it is equally true to say that true love is the key to unity. God’s love always involves a choice and an action, and our love should be like His too. How well do you display your love for God in the choices you make and the actions you take?

I pray for someone here, “now may God the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him. May the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope, and so shall it be – Amen.”

Therefore, it is time to stop playing church and pay real attention to Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7:26-29 (TPT) which says, “But everyone who hears my teaching and does not apply it to his/her life can be compared to a foolish person who built his/her house on sand. When it rained and rained and the flood came, with wind and waves beating upon his/her house, it collapsed and was swept away.” Let us be true ambassadors of the Good News representing Jesus here on earth by doing His will which invariably gives the Father glory.

However, let us be joined together in perfect peace and unity with Jesus. God will continually revitalise us, implanting within us the passion to do what pleases Him live a cheerful life, without complaining or division among ourselves. Then we will be much encouraged in our relationship with Jesus, we will be filled to overflowing with his comforting love and experience a deepening friendship with the Holy Spirit and fell His tender affection and mercy.

I look forward to hearing your encouraging testimonies.

Jesus is Lord!!!
